Sustainability

Fewer but better.
Quality over Quantity.
Minimal and trans-seasonal.
Adisee chooses to be responsible.

The fashion industry is a major contributor in the climate change problem that the world is facing today. Thus, we at Adisee strive to do our bit by carrying out responsible business practices and sourcing all our materials from ethical suppliers, as well as producing practical pieces with longevity.

Materials

We source our leathers from Gold rated tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). This organisation focuses on creating positive environmental impact within the industry by reducing waste and water usage, pollution (air, water and soil) and on the reduction of emission though moderate energy usage. This certification ensures that these tanneries have ZERO effluents, thanks to the stringent standards followed.
Moreover, we use either suede-like fabric composed with 100% recycled polyester or 100% organic cotton fabric as lining for all the bags.

Packaging

The dustbags that come with our bags are made in 100% recycled cotton fabric without any bleach or chemical dyes. Whereas, the boxes are made with FSC-certified cardboard and are reusable as well. The FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Moreover, we aim at shifting to carbon neutral shipping by the year 2022.

Empowering our Community & Waste Management

It’s equally important for us to give back to the community that we work so closely with. We empower our local artisans ensuring fair wages and a safe working environment for them.
We strive to optimise our wastage by using the waste leather in innovative ways such as creating small leather goods and personalisation options for customers.
